Okay so it's been fucking forever since I posted last and to be honest I have hardly drawn in months. I don't know what it is but I just until recently have not had the urge to do so. I'm finally starting to do some thumbnails for preview story for Loche and have been sketching again. So there is hope. I haven't given up entirely. Just need some rejuvination.

Oh now that its been six months since BIZMAR came out I can post the pages.
I'm not really all that pleased with them. They came out a little more amateurish and they kind of stand out against the other stories in the anthology. Which may be a good thing, may be a bad thing. Who knows.





I'm a lot happier with the second page than the first. The first page makes me cringe.

Okay so I've been really lazy for the past while and I haven't been getting anything finished. I have a tonne of half completed images, and it's really starting to gnaw at me. I really need a good kick in the ass and get moving. Well for now here's something thats half finished...

So it's coming slowly. Eugene and I are working out the 2nd and 3rd issue. Pencils are moving along on the first issue and as you can see by the top pic there, I'm trying to work out an interesting way to use grey tones over pencils. Stay tuned.

Just finished the pencils tonight! Hope you guys (thats if anyone is actually looking at my site) like it.


I know they look unfinished. Some parts have been left intentionally rough for digital colouring or painting.

I know by now some of you are asking yourselves "What exactly is Loche? And how will it not only improve my life, but the lives of everyone who reads it?" to which I would modestly reply; "What are retarded it's the Goddamn Loche!" and then Frank Miller and AOL Time Warner would promptly come and sue my ass. But Loche is a story I've been working on for a long time. I mean LONG. Its taken 8 years of creating, re-writing, stops and starts for it to come to the point its at right now. Loche is the story of Sean O'Brian, his sister Samantha, and Sean's ex-girlfriend Alicia as they are brought to a world of dreams and fantasy. A land called Keyeties. A world inspired by books like The Hobbit, The Wheel of Time series, The great comics Stardust and Bone, movies such as Lord of the Rings, Ridley Scott's Legend, and the penultimate video game series Final Fantasy. It is in this place Sean, Samantha, will learn the truth about not only their family but about their very existence. Hooked? No? Well why the hell not? What do I have to do? Hit you in the head with a brick? Geez no pleasing some people.

Hooray. BIZMAR (BUNNY-INSECT-ZOMBIE-MONKEY-ALIEN-ROBOT) is done. Look for it to come out soon in Windsor/Detroit area comic stores.

Just a few to pass the time...

Hit a good stride this week. Started drawing the interiors of Loche #1 after a 6 month gap. I also started 3(!) NEW COVERS! Now if I can just finish the BIZMAR pages that I told myself I'd finish a week ago. More pics to come soon.

This is the first cover to Loche in pencil form. The image thats used in the background is a first attempt at digital inking it. I may redo it eventually.
